The fall of commodity prices in the three markets of Yei town boosted the moral of consumers in the county.

This is the view of the Hakim Eregenoius of Farm Radio project for Christians Reformed World Relief Committee.

He told Radio Easter that food prices registered a drastic reduction during September.

Mr Hakim said inflation dropped from 80 to 45 percent.

He added that it was a good improvement although farmers were getting less money.

Mr Hakim said stable prices were one way to build a stable economy and a stable country.

He appealed to traders not to aim at higher prices.
