Pojulu community of Lainya County on Sunday organized in Juba a memorial prayer for Late Commissioner Sadrak Tereka who passed away last month.
Lainya County Press Secretary Bullen Lugalla told Radio Easter that the Pojulu community gathered for prayers in Munuki-Juba to remember the great commissioner who led the County for four months.Central Equatoria local government minister Redentore Pitiya said Mr. Sadrak’s death was a great loss.
He said the late commissioner did in four months the equivalent of four years of development work.
Mr Pitiya appointed the County Executive Director as acting County Commissioner.
Mr Lugalla said a big number of people gathered for the memorial prayer both from the Government and from the Pojulu community in Juba.
