The Catholic Archbishop of Juba said yesterday that the churches have to get involved in the current situation in the country while urging politicians not to rig the lections.
Archbishop Lukudu Loro was talking at the end of the Sudanese Church Leaders Forum yesterday evening.
Archbishop Lukudu told Bakhita Radio that the churches have to get involved in the situation of the country and help find solutions because they are Sudanese.
The Catholci Archbishop of Juba expressed his worry that the elections may be rigged.
Archbishop Lukudu asked the politicians to respect the vote of the people, because the voice of people is the voice of God also in matters of politics.
He urged citizens to vote.
The four-day Sudanese Church Leaders Forum organized by the Sudan Council of Churches concluded last evening. It gathered more than 60 participants from 14 states.
