The World Food Program or WFP says it will only donate food to schools with toilets, stores and kitchens in flood-affected areas in Northern Bahr el Ghazal.
Many schools are currently in dire need of assistance following heavy rains that flooded many areas in the state, Internews reported.Aweil East County education director Demonic Ajith Wieu says WFP will prioritize schools with toilet, a kitchen and store because these requirements are essential in ensuring good storage and hygiene.
He says nearly fourth schools currently have latrines following this requirement.
