A Poland-based company plans to extend its investment to Yei River County forests.
Smart System Investment Company General Manager Edyta Kiwi told the press that her company is aiming at running a sustainable forest project in the county, Radio Easter reported.She said their investment proposal will benefit the community with employment and professional opportunities taking advantage of the training centre already in place in the county to develop the region.
Mihos Cheke added that the investment will also attract technology transfer and increase timber production in Yei.
The investment company did not disclose when it starts operating in the county.
