A local business wants to attract foreign investors and nationals to put money in businesses in South Sudan.

Suzan Metta is South Sudan Business Club Marketing Executive, she told CRN today in Juba that her company is planning to put up Business Expo this month.

She explained that what is holding back foreign investors is that they have a negative perception of South Sudan because it emerged from a long conflict.

Ms Metta added that South Sudan is a peaceful country in terms of business but that regulations are a bit tough.

Ms Metta urged investors to come to South Sudan and put money into business.

She explained that the Business Expo coming up this month will target investors inside and outside the South Sudan.

Ms Metta added that Expo will include some big businesses like the banks, local retailers among others to showcase their products.

She said Business Expo will present a chance for the investors and businesses to interact with potential customers.

Investors fear investing in the country due to perception of rampant insecurity.
