The National Legislative Assembly has enacting 11 bills into laws in its second session before going for recess.
MP Joseph Ngere Paciko, by is a member of the Committee of Information, Culture and Telecommunication said today in Juba that the Assembly has achieved great deal of work by endorsing the eleven.Ngere said the laws include taxation law, refugees law general education law among others.
He added that the other big achievement of the parliament is the endorsement of austerity budget with its appropriation bill.
Mr Ngere said the parliament is going to deliberate on other eight bills including the three media bills afterthe two months recess.
He said the parliament has not table any private members bill at the moment.
Mr Ngere explained that 90 percent of the laws come from the executive and that 10 percents should come from the parliament through a process known as Private Members Bill.
Mr Ngere stressed that it is necessary for South Sudan as a new country to have its establishment laws coming from the executive.
