The administration of St. Kizito primary school in Isoke boma, Lomohidang north Payam, Ikotos County in Eastern Equatoria, has expelled two pupils and suspends another, following a strike, last week.

The two pupils were identified to have mastermind the March 15 strike over food.

St. Kizito primary school secretary, Oleyo Ceaser, told Radio Emmanuel that ten pupils where listed out as ring leaders, but seven are under punishment and one suspended for seven days while the other two are not allowed back in the school.

The pupils went on strike after a food shortage hit St. Kizito Primary School and the situation created unrest between the teachers and pupils.

The arrival of a food consignment late last week calmed down the pupils and classes resumed putting an end to the strike.
