The other disappeared when the truck was taken by the flash flood.

Thee men managed to swim to safety.

Mohammed Ali, a Kenyan truck driver working for World Food Programme, said only one person died.

Mr Ali called on the government to look into the problem of roads because they are the sources of life for all the people.

He lamented that floods are delaying food to people suffering from hunger.

Mr Ali said hew was travelling to Rumbek and used the Yambio Road because the Rumbek-Juba road was impassable after Yirol.

He added that since Luri Bridge is broken the river crossing become very dangerous.

He said there are some 200 trucks are stuck near Mundri, in Western Equatoria, because the bridges there were also broken.

Many trucks were waiting for the Luri River waters to come down in both sides of the broken bridge.
