The son of the famous American televangelist Billy Graham is coming to Juba in October to conduct a two-day crusade under the theme “Hope for a new nation.”
Dr Franklin Billy Graham was invited by the Sudan Council of Churches to preach the word of God in the new country.Apollo Alfred Ð who is the Secretary General of the organizing committee Ð told journalists Tuesday in Juba that Mr Graham sympathizes with the people of South Sudan and has rebuilt churches through his charity organization, Samaritan Purse.
He said the preparations for the October 26-27 crusade are going on smoothly.
Rev Apollo added that in April Mr Graham visited Juba and met with President Salva Kiir.
He invited the president to attend the Juba Festival, but the organizing committee will formalize the invitation.

Two hundred people from Torit are expected to attend the crusade in Juba.
