Students starting their courses at the Catholic University of South Sudan in Juba’s campus were told that they had to work hard in order to attain quality education.

Senior lecturer Gabriel Asida told first-year students that the Catholic University wants to lead in quality education in South Sudan and students have to contribute with their efforts, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said quality education cannot be attained if students did not show commitment to their studies.

Dr Asida said a quality university offers good education, research to solve local problems and community services for the students to develop their skills.

He said if the students acquire good skills, they will be able to serve the community.

Dr Asida called on the students to work hard to realize their dreams in order to build the new nation.
