Troops from UNISFA, the UN Interim Security Force in Abyei, are assisting in the rehabilitation and maintenance of Abyei Civil Hospital.
Abyei sub-chief Deng Muony Luak told Internews that the Ethiopian troops are renovating the civil hospital.They also brought with them two medical doctors to deliver health assistance to the
Mr Deng said the hospital was too small to serve the entire community in Abyei.
He called upon NGOs to give more support to the health institutions in Abyei.
