Mapuordit Catholic Secondary School and Rumbek Minor Seminary will reopen after the general elections scheduled for April 11.
This was announced by the Catholic Bishop of Rumbek Caesar Mazzolari in a letter addressed to Church personnel.Bishop Mazzolari wrote that the opening of the school year in Mapuordit mission, Lakes state, was postponed while seminarians are expected to return on April 15 after the elections.
Bishop Mazzolari was returning from Italy to Rumbek last Saturday, but the plane was diverted to Nairobi due to bad weather in Rumbek.
Mapuordit Minor Seminary is run by the Apostles of Jesus while the Sisters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart are in charge of the Secondary School in collaboration with the Comboni Missionaries.
