The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba is organizing a five-day popular mission for the third time with a famous preacher from the archdiocese of Kampala, Uganda.
The open air preaching by Fr Anthony Mussaala will run from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, from Wednesday to Sunday√É≈† at St. Theresa’ Cathedral in Kator under the theme “Always be joyful, pray constantly; and for all things give thanks. This is the will of God for you in Jesus Christ.”Alfred Oruma, who chairs the order and reception committee, told Bakhita Radio this morning that the preacher will arrive in Juba on Wednesday while his four-member advance team comes tomorrow.
He said Fr Mussaala will visit Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro and Bakhita Radio before starting his popular mission on the grounds of St Theresa’s Cathedral.
Mr Oruma explained that the daily programme begins with prayers and worship followed by preaching and ending with the mass.
He invited all people to attend the prayer and receive God’s blessing.
Choirs from St. Theresa, St. Kizito and St. Joseph parishes are expected to lead the singing.
Fr Mussaala offered same kind of prayer in Juba last year.
