A five-day vocation camp training for the youth in the Archdiocese of Juba kicked off today in St. Vincent de Paul parish in Gumbo.
The Secretary General of the Archdiocese of Juba, Fr. Martin Ochaya Lino, told SCR News that youth from 11 parishes are camping in Gumbo parish since yesterday evening for the third vocation camp.
Fr. Ochaya said the youth between 15 and 22 comprising of both girls and boys will be exposed to several realities of life in order to make a choice for their future.
Fr. Ochaya added that exposing the youth to many vocations will help them decide well what they want to do with their lives.
Among the topics to be covered by the camp are priesthood, married life and consecrated life of brothers and sisters.
More than 30 young women and men are attending the camp organized by the religious institutes in Juba in coordination with the archdiocesan vocational team.
