The SPLM candidate for Upper Nile State governor launched his campaign in Renk county Saturday evening.
Simon Kun Puoch told party supporters he will run many development projects if he is elected to power, SCR News correspondent reported..Mr. Kun asked the different communities in Renk to remain in peaceful coexistence.
He added that one of his first priorities is security.
He also promised to move his office from Malakal to Renk if elected.
Mr. Kun told the supporters that Upper Nile is the only state that is ruled by a NCP governor since the signing of the CPA.
He urged citizens to vote the NCP out of the seat.
