The National Legislative Assembly on Wednesday passed a budget for the fiscal year 2012-2013 to the tune of 6.6 billion South Sudanese pounds.
The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning presented the draft budget with a total of 6.4 billion South Sudanese pounds.
The committee of finance at the parliament raised the total to 6.6 billion South Sudanese pounds due to an addition made to the budget for the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The budget is to be financed with one billion pounds reserve available, The rest is set to come from loans from the banks.
