Yei River County in Central Equatorial State has on Tuesday received a donation of medical equipments from the state ministry of health.
The County Health Department Director, Simon Loro, said that the donation contains all medical staff and operational equipments, Radio Easter reported.Loro added that the donation is meant for Tore Payam Primary Health Care Centre operation theatre located 48 miles away from the county along maridi road.
Yei River County Commissioner, Juma David Augustine appreciated the initiative adding that, patients in the rural areas are in need of health service delivery.
Juma appealed to other partners to support the health sector in order to meet the challenges facing the county.
This is the first set of donation to the health centre in Tore since its construction early this year.
