The Chairperson of the National Congress Party (NCP) in Central Equatoria state said party members have been harassed but not arrested in the state.
Steward Soroba who is also Central Equatoria minister of information, told SCR News that party members have not experienced arrest but have been harassed several times in Tali, Terekeka Country.Mr. Soroba revealed that the harassments are committed to weaken the performance of the rivaling party.
He said NCP and SPLM have recently ironed out the initial problems that faced both parties.
Mr. Soroba called for concerned authority to allow the spirit of democracy to prevail in the county.
Yesterday Mr. Soroba said his party has a stronghold in Central Equatoria state in the April general elections.
