Art lovers have expressed hope that art can sell a positive image of South Sudan and unite people against tribalism.

These were some of the voices who turn up at the opening of the Kidenite Art exhibition Tuesday at Juba Civic Engagement Canter.

Elizabeth Wondu told CRN that the exhibition was very beautiful and inspirational.

She said it makes people think that South Sudan is now independent and started developing fine arts.

She added that the art work exhibit can compete in any other show in the world.

Mrs Wondu booked a floral painting that she described as beautiful.

Juba County Commissioner Stephen Wani Michael said the exhibition was √É’very fantastic.’

He encouraged young people to engage in arts to unite them and overcome tribalism.

Mr Wani said arts make people happy.

He exclaimed he was amazed that whole art work in the show was made of paper.

Mr Wani pledged to support Juba County youths to engage in arts activities.
