A number of officials from Western Equatoria Government are learning about project writing and fundraising skills in order to deliver better services.
Advisor for conflict mitigation and stabilization Tom Onditi told Anisa FM that government officials need training to meet challenges.He said the proposal writing and fundraising strategy training started on Wednesday and ends Saturday in Yambio.
Mr Onditi said the training drew key people from various ministries in the state to acquire the skills to write fundraising proposals.
The best five proposals will be sent to Juba for fundraising.
Mr Onditi urged people to be patient about development because it is a continued process to fulfil all needs in the state and in the whole nation.
He called for a collective effort because development has no boundary in a democratic nation.
