The Central Equatoria High Elections Committee has trained civil society organizations to ensure efficient dissemination of civic education to the voters.
Talking to SCR news, Mary Justo Kide, a member of the Central Equatoria High Elections Committee mentioned the purpose of the workshop and affirmed that the civil society organizations are the right people to convey the civic education to the voters.Ms. Kide added that the participants have been engaged in the civic education dissemination.
She acknowledged that they will carry out the civic education as soon as they conclude their training.
Among the participatory civil society groups is SUNDE, Sudan Council of Churches, SUDEMOP, Deng Foundation and others.
The training was attended by at least thirty five individuals.
