The campaign team for Goss SPLM presidential candidate has postponed Kiirs’ campaign in Bentiu to unknown date.
Kuoc Nyuol, member of communication committee for Kiirs’ campaign told Bakhita FM that the management team for Kiir’s campaign has postponed the date due to interruption that happened in Bentiu.Mr. Nyuol said the interruption that was caused by non SPLM members is an abuse of democracy and freedom of expression.
One person has as admitted to Bentiu Teaching Hospital with serious injuries sustained when violence broke out at Bentiu stadium between Kiir’s supporters and supporters of independent candidates.
Mr. Nyuol urged citizens to tolerate one another for peace and democracy to prevail.
