An official from South Sudan Electricity Corporation said the institution is going to teach local workers how to do house wiring and connet electric cables.
Kazy Yugusuk Tombe told Bakhita Radio that the corporation has taken the step to arrest electric problems caused by wrong wring by contractors without proper training.He explained that the training will include house wiring, connection to main lines and installation of meters.
Mr Yugusuk said it was wrong to contact electricians who are not certified.
He revealed that most electricity incidents are caused by poor wiring.
Mr Yugusuk concluded it was important for the Government to train local people on wiring even though public power supply is irregular in Juba and across South Sudan.
