A group of journalists from the United States of America visiting Nuba Mountains were able to witness aerial bombardments by Sudanese warplanes in Kauda.
Heiban County SPLM-North Chairman Younan Albarut said it was good the journalists were in Kauda when Sudanese bombs fell over them on Sunday and Monday.He said although the SPLM-North has been denouncing Sudanese bombardments against civilians, the world seems not to believe.
Mr Albarut added that the US journalists were able to verify that in Kauda there are no military targets.
The SPLM-North chairman made the remarks at the closure of one-week training for Nuba journalists.
The workshop involved different journalists from various counties.
The authorities selected from each locality two people to report and pass information to the people about any incident happening there.
