South Sudanese returnees arriving today from Israel have expressed their happiness for being home again.

Simon Tut told CRN that the returnees were so happy to see the homeland after many years in Israel.

He appreciated the Israeli government for taking care of South Sudanese refugees for six years.

Tut also acknowledged the people of South Sudan for welcoming them home.

Chot Chul said he was happy in the home land after many years of refuge in Israel.

He explained that he went to Israel because he was in danger in South Sudan during the civil war.

Mr Chul said the decision of Israel to facilitate their return is a good move allowing him to come to his homeland.

124 of the 700 South Sudanese in Israel have voluntarily returned home on Monday.

The voluntary repatriation programme is paid by the Israeli authorities.
