The payam representative said the residents did not have any knowledge of the reasons that led Anthony Joseph Kpandu to the border of Central African Republic where he was arrested in the company of four Ambororo people.

He noted that what Mr Kpandu did was his own business and had nothing to do with the payam residents.

He added that Bessilia people have always believed in democracy and transparency where everyone is able to express his or her feelings without fear.

The Bessilia spokesperson said his fellow residents condemned in the strongest terms the dubious plans of Mr Kpandu and his friends.

The Bessilia people noted that they were taken by surprise by the news of the arrest of Mr Kpandu and his friends.

They declared their support to the Government of Western Bahr el Ghazal and promised to foster actions that promote peace, stability and prosperity in the state.

Governor Rizik Zakaria Hassan welcomed the residents of Bessilia payam in the Council of Ministers in Wau.

He congratulated them for the move and willingness to work for the good of the whole nation.

The governor stressed that his work is to promote stability and development in the state in collaboration with all the citizens of Western Bahr el Ghazal.

Mr Kpandu and four Ambororo men were arrested at the border with Central African Republic by South Sudan Boarder security personnel last Friday in dubious circumstances.
