The Prison Training Centre in Tonj South County of Warrap State was shut down in order to allow recruits to cultivate their fields to defeat hunger in the county.
Tonj Central Prison Director Fedelis Majok told Don Bosco FM that training was interrupted during the rainy season also because wet ground does not allow trainees to carry with exercises in the required manner.Mr Majok said the shutdown will allow recruits to cultivate more food for their families and for sale.
He urged residents to cultivate more food in order to defeat hunger.
