Murder cases have increased in Tonj East County of Warrap State.
Tonj Central Prison Director Fedelis Majok told Don Bosco FM that the cases of murder have increased in Tonj East County due to adultery and cattle issues.He mentioned that one man killed his son for suspecting he was having an affair with his second wife.
Another man is in jail after beating to death another man over pregnancy allegations.
Mr Majok said there are ten cases of adultery in the prison.
He added that adultery is fuelling murder cases in Greater Tonj.
Mr Majok urged the community to avoid adultery and murder and look into ways that promote the social wellbeing in the community.
Tonj Central Prison has 187 inmates mostly charged with adultery, murder and theft.
