Tombura county executive director has opened on Tuesday a new Migration office in Rii-Yubu payam which is bordering Central African Republic.
Speaking during the opening, Hassen Awar Bakith said many foreigners are coming to South Sudan by the road passing through Rii-Yubu Payam via Bambuti in Central Africa Republic, Anisa Radio reported.He added that people from Cameroon, Chad and Central Africa Republic are getting in country without proper legal documents and the county authorities decided to open the migration post at this strategic point to control foreigners movement into South Sudan.
Mr. Bakith urged the citizens to cooperate with the government and keep watching all the village routes for those who would escape the main road to enter into south Sudan.
He also warned the boda-boda riders of 500 Pounds fine if anyone is found transporting an illegal foreigner.
