Members for resource mobilization for the demarcation of Yei County and its outskirt payams were yesterday sworn in before the office of the county commissioner and the legal advisor.
The Chairman of the committee Thomas Wani told Easter Radio that the resource mobilized will be used to construct 250 kilometres of roads within the county to improve mobility and curb insecurity.He explained that each family head will contribute ten pounds towards the roads demarcation and construction and that the exercise effectively started today.
The committee comprised of seven members including Payam directors, head chiefs, executive chiefs, headmen as well as religious leaders.
Yei River County Commissioner David Juma appealed to the committee members to work openly in order to fulfil the aspirations of the people.
