Saint Kizito Parish in Munuki-Juba is to celebrate on Sunday its Silver Jubilee.
St Kizito started as a prayer centre in 1983 but in 1987 became a parish in now is one of the major parishes in the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba serving thousands of people.Joseph Ladu Loku, information secretary for the fundraising committee, told Bakhita Radio that 25 years of faith is a blessing to worshippers of Saint Kizito Parish.
He said the occasion signifies the commitment of the faithful to Christianity.
Mr Ladu urged all the faithful in Juba and Munuki to attend the occasion in person.
He said preparations are going on well.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro will preside over the mass at 10 in the morning.
