In an effort to cover the forthcoming elections fairly, Bakhita staff has been trained on how to cover elections respecting ethical and political rules.

Miraya Head of media chief, Jean-Claude Labrecque, trained today the staff of Bakhita FM on the Miraya Electoral Charter, a document that guides radio presenters and journalists on the coverage of election topics by providing ethical rules.

Talking to SCR news, Mr. Labrecque said the objective of the training was to support radio staff in having better access to ethical and political rules used in covering elections.

Mr. Labrecque added that Miraya will support the other media houses with capacity building programmes.
