SPLM Presidential campaign coordinator in Eastern Equatoria has called for equal opportunities for all candidates campaigning for executive or legislative posts at the April 11 to 13 elections.
Remy Oler called for respect of human rights and fairness to every Sudanese citizen, Radio Emmanuel reported.Mr. Oler said every political party and every politician should be treated equally with rights safeguarded, regardless of political affiliations.
Meanwhile, the commissioner of Torit County, Savior Otwor, urged the people of Eastern Equatoria State to observe the elections in peaceful manner.
Mr. Otwor added that South Sudan has accomplished the mission for liberation except independence which will be determined in the upcoming 2011 referendum.
