The American Embassy in Juba has commended South Sudan’s people and Government for their patience and commitment to peace.
Christopher Data, the American Head of Mission in Juba, told a march of Christians that stopped at the door of the embassy, that his country understands the patience, commitment and frustrations of South Sudanese people, Bakhita Radio reported.He explained that the US will work closely with the Government of South Sudan to resolve the outstanding issues in order to promote peace and development in the young nation.
Hundreds of Christian protesters marched around the streets of Juba this morning to protest the Sudanese aggression against the people and the Republic of South Sudan.
