The voting system put in place for the April general elections will not allow the rigging of its results, an official said.
Anthony Akiri Lowly is the acting chairman of Southern Sudan High Elections Committee.He told SCR News that it is impossible to rig the results from the April 11 to 13 elections because the method of vote is safeguarded against electoral fraud.
He added that votes will be distributed in different boxes according to the many executive and legislative polls.
Mr. Ariki said vote counting will be followed by agents from different candidates and parties.
He added security will be very strict to prevent mistakes.
Mr. Ariki admitted that the voting process is complex but voters will be enlightened about the method of voting during the campaign.
He added that officials will also explain to voters what to do at the polling stations before they mark their bulletins for the candidates of their choice.
