A resident of Rumbek in Lakes State said Sudan should not be allowed to continue enjoying the fruits of Higlig because the oil-rich area belongs to South Sudan.
Joseph Wade Reec told Good News Radio that he joined Anyanya 1 and Anyanya 2 because Khartoum was exploiting the wealth of South Sudan.He urged the youth to support President Salva Kiir Mayardit and at the same time advised them to be patient with their elders.
Mr Reec noted that the time for the country’s young generation to lead the nation would be coming and they should be preparing themselves for the task ahead.
