Sudan’s parliament resolution to designate South Sudan an enemy state amounts to a declaration of war.
South Sudan Government spokesperson Barnaba Marial Benjamin told the press this morning that yesterday’s resolution by the Sudanese parliament is the formalization of a war Sudan is waging against South Sudan.Dr Marial said the extremist wing of Sudan’s ruling party dragged the parliament to take what he named a crazy decision.
He added that South Sudan considers the people of Sudan its brothers and sisters.
Dr Marial said that the Republic of Sudan confirms itself as the aggressor through the declaration of war.
He added that South Sudan will defend its territorial integrity but it will not occupy an inch of Sudan’s territory.
