The authorities of Khartoum have expelled 130 South Sudanese cadets from the Police College.

Government spokesperson told journalists today that the authorities stripped the cadets of their credentials, expelled them from the colleges and gave them ten day to leave the country.

Dr Marial said President Omar Al Bashir agreed with President Salva Kiir Mayardit to train some police officers for South Sudan.

The spokesperson said the Government of South Sudan was surprised with the change of attitude from the authorities in Khartoum and its unusual way of operating.

Recently the UN urged Khartoum to allow South Sudanese students studying in the Sudan, including the police cadets, to complete their courses in security.
