Armed robbers have been targeting traders of Yei River County for last five nights.
Nasaradin Abass is one of the traders who were robbed at gunpoint. He told Radio Easter that armed men forced him to open his door at midnight, beat him with the pistol on the head and took good worth 1,000 pounds.Trader Oliver Duku said in the same night armed men attacked him: one with pistol and others with pangas.
He added that they took one telephone and 300 pounds from him.
Wani Eli said traders are not safe because they do not know what will happen next.
He added that traders are having sleepless nights in the market.
The traders appealed the county authorities to provide security for them to continue with theirs businesses out of danger.
