The Vatican is organizing a congress titled “From parables to Twitter” to reflect on the challenges and opportunities the information technology and communications pose for evangelization.
The congress will gather a number of Catholic specialists on new communications media, journalists and webmasters.The digital world presents itself as the new global frontier for evangelization.
Pope Benedict included the world of information technology and communications among the major areas of apostolate for the Church in Africa.
