Living in Christ throws away sins, death, tribalism and hatred.

Some Christians in the streets of Juba expressed their feelings about the Easter celebration.

Rebuilding International Ministries Pastor Paul Deng told CRN that his Church si moving around Juba to preach the Gospel of Christ.

He said the preaching at the eve of Easter aimed to bring Christians closer to God as people are divided along tribal lines.

Pastor Deng added that the recent clashes in Komiru between Bari and Nuer communities were not good acts and they preached there about the unity and love.

He said if Christians have Christ in their life, sin, death, tribalism and the hatred will go because Christ came from heaven to change our destiny.

Richard Malesh Kumbo said Easter follows the 40 days of Lent when Jesus Christ went to the wilderness and fasted.

He said celebrating Easter mean remembering that Jesus suffered and died for the salvation of his people.

Abuk Yaac said Christians have to expect suffering and rejection in the same way Jesus did.

She said Jesus said Jesus’ followers do not belong to this world.

Ms Yaac added that Christians have to forgive and love those who trouble them and pray for their salvation because they do not know what they are doing.

She explained that Christians have to be on their knees for God to forgive the wrongdoers and they may not be lost.

Pastor Paul said the Christians have to sit together and love one another in the new nation.

He added that Easter celebration is a call to repentance and not about drinking, dancing and committing adultery.
