The Centre for Information and Computer Training in Kauda, Nuba Mountains, was closed down.
Acting chairperson of civil society and information centre in Kauda, Gasim K., said the Centre has stopped due to lack of fuel and money since trainees are not paying their fees.He said the youth protested against the closure of the centre since it was the only internet place where they could get information and news.
Mr Gasim added that up to now he did not know why the internet access was blocked.
He said the Khartoum Government might be behind the block or the service finished.
He added that his group is making efforts to find out what halted the internet access.
Mr Gasim urged all youths to work together and raise funds to buy fuel and run the centre.
He said the centre stopped operations for three months.
