The Sudan Certificate Exams that give assess to university studies start on Monday and conclude in the end of the month.
The announcement was made by Rebecca Joshua Okwaci, the Deputy Minister of General Education.She said the examination papers were already sent by Khartoum and transported to the states.
Almost 16,500 candidates are expected to sit for the exams: some 12,000 boys and over 4,300 girls.
There are 107 academic, four commercial and two technical examinations centres across South Sudan.
