A US renowned actor and activist yesterday was handcuffed and arrested in front of the Sudan embassy in Washington-DC during a protest against the war in South Kordofan.
George Clooney was warned three times to leave the property but resisted together his father, Nick Clooney, and Enough Project Co-Founder John Prendergast, and a number of other celebrities, Enough announced.Clooney asked for immediate humanitarian aid into Sudan before it becomes the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
He urged the government in Khartoum to stop killing its own citizens.
The detainees were released later in the day.
