The authorities of Yei River County have relocated today Yei Bus Park from the supermarket area to Lutaya after meeting with the payam and Park authorities on Monday morning at the Commissioner’s office.
County Commissioner Elia Waiwai yesterday announced that all vehicles transporting passengers to Juba, Kaya, Maridi and Lasu should park in the new site in Lutaya Market, Radio Easter reported.He said that no vehicle should board passenger outside the park area.
The commissioner added that anyone who does not comply with this local order will face the law.
Police, public security and organized forces were charged to execute the local order.
A Radio Easter reporter this morning visited the new park in Lutaya Market which is still under construction.
Drivers were complaining about the park because it was not organized and was full of building materials.
Some taxi operator droves their buses away from the new Park in Lutaya Market and were boarding passengers along the streets of Yei.
