South Sudan is a vast and virgin land able to grow food to feed the whole of East Africa.
This is the view of Steven Gwala, the manager of Agricultural Marketing and Development Trust, an Ugandan organization. He added that farmers only need modern farming technologies to take advantage of such vast and fertile land.
Mr Gwala made these remarks yesterday during the opening of a five-day training in Yei for the rural agro-dealers of Greater Equatoria.
