Yei Deputy Inspector of Traffic Police said one passenger was killed and another three seriously injured in a car accident along the Yei-Lasu road.
Abraham Mading said the accident was caused by high speed, Radio Easter reported.He added that the car belonged to a road construction company.
Mr Mading said it was the second accident in the Yei-Lasu road.
He added that two months ago a boda-boda rider broke one leg in another serious accident.
Mr Mading said he ordered patrolling to be intensified to curb the accidents along that road.
The three injured passengers are under treatment at Yei Civil Hospital.
Mr Mading said the driver was arrested and investigations are still going on.
He appealing to all drivers to be careful and avoid accidents that claim innocent people.
