Returnees who want to settle in Juba will have difficulty to own a piece land in the already congested capital city.
Central Equatoria information minister Francis Barson Yousa told Bakhita Radio that commissioners of the six counties in Central Equatoria were instructed to offer plots to returnees who want to settle in their home places. He said returnees who want to stay in Juba will experience some difficulty to get plots for their resettlement because the town is highly congested.
Mr Barson explained that the government of Central Equatoria wants its people to return home, but advised that it will involve some difficulties.
He assured the returnees that the difficulties would disappear gradually as people get used to a new place.
Thousands of returnees are coming back from Sudan and hundreds are stranded in Juba Port living under the mango trees without an official place to resettle after decades of absence from the mother land.
