Some houses were reduced to ashes following an air raid by Sudanese military planes on Tuesday in Heiban town, Southern Kordofan State.
A resident from Heiban said the SAF plane was targeting a convoy bringing 29 captured Chinese road workers into town.He said that the Chinese were taken to Heiban from Abashia where they were captured last week.
He added that the aircraft dropped nine bombs that burnt number of houses.
There were no human causalities to register.
